Unfortunately it just doesn't work

I had high hopes for this little camera. It has great picture and sound, but it doesn't record for more than 5 minutes once set, no matter what mode you set it to. I've followed the instructions up to the letter "T" and it just doesn't work. If you set continuous recording, it will record for the first 2 minutes after setting and then stop. If you set it to record motion, it will record for the first 5 minutes after setting and then stop. The video/audio it records for the first few minutes is great but doesn't work as advertised. Unfortunately I paid for what I got with this purchase.
