I bought a few of these items for a recent trip to Cancun, Mexico. I found them to be excellent on the beach as they drain the sand quickly. I used them every day on vacation. The best part is I've worn them to trendy restaurants with khakis and had no trouble getting into them. They have held up great and the metal mesh outsole is amazing. If you are looking for beach/pool slippers for your vacation I would recommend these as an alternative. I didn't wear my flip flops and sandals because they give better grip and can be worn with dressier clothes. I liked having sneakers in good condition and walking on the beach was easy. This is my first pair of teal shoes so I don't have a pattern. But I won't hesitate to buy another pair. They are also inexpensive.
