First unboxing: The cable was packed in a plain sturdy box, the cable feels strong and not cheap, it has weight. I bought this cable mainly because of the warranty, knowing it will last a lifetime is no problem. I travel quite a bit so this cable fits everywhere. The best thing about a long cable is the length. Every hotel room is unique, sometimes they have an outlet next to the bed and sometimes across the room. Such a long cable really makes charging easier. Cons: Due to its length it gets tangled from time to time, I won't even complain about this one. ** 1 YEAR AFTER: There are cracks here and there, noticeable weak spots, it's starting to get more pliable and dirtier. I cleaned them, like once this year, with disinfectant and a good cloth (you're going to hell). But as you can see from the video, the steel mesh in the rubber case has not been damaged, it is still intact. It's time to call/contact Anker to claim this guarantee. I was surprised even though the cable was in such bad shape the whole time; no hotspots, no loss of charge, no malfunction. I am very impressed at the moment. **GUARANTEE: I emailed Anker customer service and they responded immediately. No problems and timely work. I have a replacement cable in about a week. Overall I am very happy with this company and I wish they would never go away. Keep it up anchor!
