and black was perfect for him
COULD be half a size smaller. I ordered a size and a half based on other reviews and they were too big for my son but kept them as he started dancing that day. He doesn't wear socks to dance, but if he did I'd probably still order half a size bigger if I could. As far as I know they should fit snugly. Otherwise there were no complaints from him and the black was perfect for him as he was the only boy in his combo class.
