You are super cute! They're small and flimsy, but they'll work for kids. I have 2 daughters with different hair textures and thicknesses and can dress both with no problem. Don't try to squeeze a large piece of hair, it will break. Just think of the size, they are small and cute. The smell inside the container is strong, I'm guessing from glue (a glue stick is included because it breaks if you're not careful! They're nifty little things) or just plain poly which cute figures are made of. I took them all out of the container and let them air out for a couple of hours and the smell was gone. my kids love it My daughters will even make their brother a "samurai" with a bun on his head, and he will adjust to the role. I have found that I can pair them with bangs as accents or tie the bottom of their braids and it looks really cute.
