Review on Merrell HYDROTREKKER Waterproof Hiking Shoe in Flame Orange by Ashwin Worlds

This product was selected for its reputation, tread pattern and water wicking properties. For the first time parts of the sole came off on a muddy trail. On the second water-soaked track, most of the sole came off and part of the tread began to chip off, leaving an orange color on the dirty track. The soles of both shoes were damaged. I ordered this through Revain and understand that they do not control the quality of individual items. But Merrell has a great reputation and I was very surprised and disappointed to see such a failure.
