Review on Purple Philips SHE3590PP/28 In-Ear Headphones - Superior SEO by Jihu Gim ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I have not regretted the purchase, everything is fine.

I have used these headphones for a very long time, and throughout that time I have gone through at least four or five different pairs. Were first black, then purple, then blue, and finally black once more. I really enjoy the way that they sound; they have deep basses, but they aren't obtrusive, and they don't boom, and at the same time, the mids and highs have a clear, distinct sound. I have not upgraded to a more expensive brand of headphones since I initially purchased this model because I do not see a reason to do so, given that the sound quality of these headphones totally satisfies my needs. This model has been my go-to purchase time and time again since the sound is so satisfying to my ears. Unfortunately, not a single pair of headphones of this model has ever been a part of my life for more than five or six months at the most. As the headphone plug is straight and because of this, the contacts at the junction of the plug and wire are prone to breaking easily, I tried to extend the service life of the previous two pairs of headphones by doing the following: The way I do it is as follows: I take a metal spiral from a regular automatic pen and wind it around the wire. Then I fix it to the plug in such a way that it covers the junction where the wire and plug meet. Due to the fact that the spiral stays very securely on the plug and prevents the wire from bending at the junction, the headphones' lifespan is increased from two to three to five or six months, according to my personal experience with this model. Despite this, the connection with the plug will eventually get loose, which will cause either one or both of the headphones to stop producing sound. If these headphones were only $200 cheaper, then purchasing them would be an absolute must. But at this point, I'm just sick of having to replace them for that amount of money, so I moved to versions that have a somewhat inferior sound quality but are more reliable, have an L-shaped socket, and are less expensive. On the other hand, this is the option that I believe to be the most suitable for you if you do not use the headphones on a daily basis and if you are willing to replace them every half a year or even more frequently.

Pros
  • + The sound quality is among the best available at this price point. In my opinion, they are not inferior in sound quality to headphones costing 1000-1500; + The classic shape of the earpiece and the associated wearing comfort; + Variety of colors; + Popularity - can be found in many stores, a very common model.
Cons
  • - Unreliable and break frequently after only a few months of usage; - Straight (not L-shaped) plug, which requires you to handle the headphones with extreme caution but does not actually improve their durability.
