I have been searching for the perfect corset for ages! This one is the best I've found so far. The fabric is a beautiful heavy duty damask. I have no concerns about it falling apart. According to the size chart I should wear a 4XL but after reading reviews I ordered a 3XL Unfortunately, even this is too large in that when I tie it, the strings are closed to the maximum meaning that if I lose any weight (always trying) it will be too large. I could have gone with a 2XL. I always need the underbust because I wear a 36DDD but even with that, the holes are a bit large around the underarm. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there is no way to put this on alone. If anyone finds a corset with nice strong fabric, a side zipper and strings in the front please let me know! I sewed the ribbon on the front to make a dirndl costume for Oktoberfest. I will probably order the white one in a 2XL.
