Review on BRIOFOX Extra Large Adhesive Invisible Transparent by Derek Helvie

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple and inexpensive solution to attaching a shower rod

I first used felt furniture glides to give the tiles a better grip when installing the push rod. However, these pads slipped over time (2-3 months) and were not a solution to prevent the shower rod from falling. Briofox plastic braces seem to be the right solution. First I removed the furniture adhesive from the tiles. I removed the plastic backing from the Briofox clips and attached them to the tile. I let the brackets "cure" for two hours before installing the curtain rod. Time will tell how well they work, but the brackets are firmly bonded to the tile and the shower curtain stays in place. I'll update the rating if they don't hold up in a few weeks and months.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
