I really liked the colors on these sneakers. I didn't pay attention to the mention of "lightweight" in the description as I figured it was just a detailing of a lightweight shoe. In fact, while these shoes look great, they offer no support at the bottom of the ankle (which kids need as they grow). My daughter is very gross but she has sprained her ankle several times so they are no longer used.
