I was looking for a 2ft or longer data cable to replace the 1ft cable. So the first cable found that seemed to match the description was a charging cable. I didn't know charging cables didn't transfer data so I bought it and was disappointed. Then, when I knew what I was looking for, I searched again. Most of the cables shown were charging cables. I found 1 foot long data cables but tried to replace one of those because it was too short. This one is 5 feet long. Now I have an extra cable, but at least it's not too short.
