Although large, this scarf is good value for money and will keep your head and neck warm. I walk my dog no matter the weather (I live up north by the Great Lake) and this hat and scarf combo keeps me warm and comfortable. One side of the scarf is longer because you will use that side to wrap it around your neck at the back and tie off at the front. I see some posts that thought it might be a defect. No, that is not so. I recommend this product.
