Size mismatch

I bought a similar pair of compression gloves from another company and saw that they were cheaper and got good reviews so I took a chance. I have read the dimensions and all the other reviewers carefully. From the looks of it, I was clearly an average size, although my 6 inch wrist might be a bit small for that size. I have really big hands for my size and generally any compression. Gloves pinch fingers. They were no different and I am not judging them due to my particular size. But based on the reviews, a medium size should have worked for me since my hand measures 3.75 inches in the palm. Not small. These gloves fit my fingers perfectly but were frankly baggy at the wrist with a 1/2 inch gap. They got snug in the palm, but not tight enough to cause any pressure, then fitted the fingers perfectly. If your fingers are sore they will work for you but I have to squeeze the wrist and palm. Also, one of them was larger than the other, not much but enough to see that there was more room on the wrist and I measured a 1/4 inch difference between them. I would give them one star for so many inconsistencies but I think it's a quality control issue and I seriously doubt that other cheap Chinese compression gloves will be that different. Nevertheless, two stars are not an indicator. I shouldn't have skimped so much on what I need, but I'm waiting for prescription compression gloves.
