It is very important for me to have a good pair of socks. Especially when it gets cold or you are on your feet a lot. I used to buy this brand at an outdoor store before they went out of business. I never thought socks could be different from other pairs. Maybe in the short term it's like going out for just an hour. If you wear them, you will notice. I wore them on a 26 mile hike and had no blisters and kept my feet dry. Then I used them again for a 35 mile run - no blisters.
