I bought this item for my 11 month old twins (bought almost 2 months ago when they were 9.5 months old). They love this toy. The ring around the top spins to make different sounds, the light on the front flashes and easily attracts attention, my kids love the tags so they keep them entertained too. There are story and music modes, and yes, there is an off button! I recommend this toy for months of play! No issues with new batteries or any failures and we have had children who are not loving with their toys for 2 months now!
