So I bought them to hang from the ceiling. After spending 20 minutes tying the leash to just ONE of the candles I said to hell I'm giving them back. If it takes forever with one, just imagine all 12. If you don't have the patience of a saint, I strongly advise you not to buy them. I'm still trying to figure out how the hell everyone else hung them successfully, I've tried different ways and multiple attempts and none of them work. ALSO, if you are looking for a warm yellowish color/feel these candles are not for you. The pictures are bullish and the color of the candles is actually bright white. There is no remote control and as soon as you put the batteries in the candles turn on meaning that every time you want to turn them off you have to physically unscrew the light for each candle and take out the battery meaning you can turn each candle off need to hang up candle. If, like me, you want to store them for a while and not just use them once, that would be very inconvenient. I'll find something easier to hang, but it definitely wasn't worth it.
