OK for the money. - Shortwave radios

Radio received today and no instructions. I figured out most of the features, but a beginner might have trouble. Pros: Good sound quality. Good build quality. MP3 works fine. with my downloaded old radio shows. The analog pointer seems pretty close. Bad: The writing on the top of the radio is very difficult to see. It would be much better without the glossy finish. FM could be better and the Am volume is very low. I'm within ten miles of all my local FM and AM stations. My cheap little AM-FM radio works better. Others have complained about the small stand, but it works well as it supports the radio. There is no cutout to allow the antenna to be placed vertically when using the stand. I really can't rate the SW reception at the moment due to the changing conditions, but it's ok for now. Overall, I think the radio is worth €15. paid for it. Update: I contacted Radiwow ab about very low volume on MW and no user manual. Whilst they were polite and responded in a timely manner the only advice they gave me was to return it to Revain as it may have been damaged in transit as they test every radio they sell but no mention of providing instructions. The packaging was in perfect condition, but I think that could have happened. I'll probably send it back and take away one of the Tecsun radios that I've had great luck with in the past.
