I can't remember when I first bought this bag so I've had it for a long time and it still works great. I'm a person who carries my whole life in a bag, sometimes I even carry a small bag in it to go shopping or when I don't really need much. I 100% overstuff this bag to the point where I'm sure it could weigh over 20 pounds. I've been doing this for years and none of the straps have even started to break, which has never happened to me (I've overloaded my bags and snapped the straps on most of them). I'll be buying a new one because it's starting to lose its shape, but honestly I could defiantly keep using this bag, I could just pick a different color as an excuse to get a new one. Also, I keep a water bottle and an iced coffee bottle in it, and since the structure is good and I have stuff in between, I've never had a problem. Internal flaps protect each area very well, especially the computer pocket. Once I had a broken water bottle and I didn't notice it right away and the laptop didn't get wet. Then consider the price and it won't be difficult, by far the best bag.
