All the texts I've seen describe these shoes as "casual". They are suitable for evening wear, very attractive and tasteful. It's much more than "everyday" shoes. I wear them to work all day on concrete, on a truck frame leveler and also in steel fabrication. These and other Keen (either/or) have outlasted every brand of work boot I've owned over the past 43 years. All of this provides excellent support and comfort and I've never had ones where the rubber separated from the leather anywhere in the shoe and I've been on my knees and used them to climb heavy gear on a daily basis. Every other brand I had ended up separating the rubber outsole from the leather upper at the toe but not Keen. I won't be looking for another brand of shoes again as long as they make them like this in the future.
