It's illogical to wear a long sleeve shirt on a hot day, but this one is great. The material breathes very well and every breeze blows through it comfortably. I found out (accidentally) that getting a wet shirt on a hot day is even better. They don't stay wet like a cotton shirt, so you won't get wet. When they dry out, the water absorbs a lot of heat. I would say the biggest downside is that it gets dirty very easily. It seems to pick up dirt better than a white cotton shirt, but it always cleans well. Once a fish vomited a minnow up my sleeve, but I immediately rinsed the shirt and everything was completely washed out and left no stains. I've also found that getting my shirt wet helps me stay cool. The size is a little bigger than expected but it's not funny. If I had known, I would have taken 1 size smaller.
