We recently purchased a refurbished monitor similar to this one and are very happy with it. I don't know who we bought it from. We needed another one and thought this one was being sold at a great price so we went ahead and ordered it. However, when we connected it to the computer, long black vertical lines appeared on the screen in several places. It looked like someone had taken a black pen and drawn extremely straight vertical lines across the screen. Apparently some pixels weren't working. If you want to sell a used monitor, it must still be working, otherwise there is no point in buying it from you. It clearly had problems. All you had to do was plug it into your computer to see it. Did they think we wouldn't notice? Or not checked before shipping? I have no way of knowing, and I don't think it matters. We immediately repackaged it and sent it back. To be fair the company that sold it to us refunded our money. But I wish they hadn't wasted our time.
