Holds a 29" TV the width of TV feet. Store the remote controls on the second shelf. Doctors say it doesn't take anything over 50 pounds and I think 50 pounds might push it. It's thin and unobtrusive - it's made from hollow plastic tubing and cheaply coated chipboard. But for the price it is useful and well made. All parts were in fair condition. Easy assembly - one person, no tools required. All parts are included - note that assembly instructions that refer to "centre pole" should read "centre hole" instead. There is no central pillar. The sketch accompanying the assembly gives clear and unambiguous instructions on the components and their assembly.
