Loved it when I put it on Billy and he didn't go mad. The poor kid had a food allergy and licked his fur. I tried the standard cone and he got so depressed that he stayed upside down in a corner. It took 1 second. Then I put on this watermelon donut and he actually kept it and walks around in it, even using it as a neck pillow when he sleeps on the couch. Of course, when he gets tired of it, he will drop it, but at least he keeps it for a while and it doesn't depress him. I don't like going out in it just because of the drawstring. Never wear anything on your pet that doesn't have a detachable collar, only use such laces when you are around. Don't risk strangulation. I've just tightened the inner collar to the point where I can slip my finger underneath. Make sure it's not too tight when you close it and your fingers go through it.
