I brought a jacket to keep my husband warm. The second night he was supposed to work, it rained cats and dogs. He called me and said the jacket was heavy and wet and he felt wet. At this point I think it was a waste of time and money. Then he came home and said that during a break in traffic he took off his jacket and it was very wet, but he was dry to the bone. After the jacket was soaked with water it must have left a chill that could be felt through the inner lining but it was dry. He was impressed and so was I. We are both very happy with this jacket and plan on buying another one.
