FIT: I tried them on site before ordering them online for almost half the price. A quick in-store try on seemed nice, but prolonged wear after purchase showed that these Under Armor gloves were uncomfortable. They also injured the bases of my little fingers on both hands. heat no They appear to be made of the same material as other lightweight gloves I have, but these Under Armor gloves do not emit heat. TOUCH: So these gloves from Under Armor support a touchscreen on the thumb, index and middle fingers. It's not a cheap built-in touchpad like other gloves. Instead, it's a grippy material, meaning it's good for typing but bad for swiping. The grip is quite stubborn and makes it difficult to slide across the device's screen. I really only use lightweight gloves like these for driving, so the grip feature is useful, but classifying grip gloves as "liner" as grip is really weird. makes it difficult to put these gloves on with another glove. I was hoping that these Under Armor gloves would be a cheaper alternative to The North Face's Etip gloves that I usually use, but as the Etip supports touchscreen on all fingers and is actually warm (compared to the thin material of course ), Under Armored gloves simply cannot be compared. I think I'll stick with The North Face's Etip gloves.
