I received my knife about a week ago and did some chores with it. I did a great job! The edge preservation is amazing! Very strong steel D2! We've used D2 steel in the dies used to cut and make other types of steel, so it's strong! This knife is proof of that. The included ferro rod fits just right and throws big sparks without wearing out quickly. The scraper has a nice firm grip for wet or cold fingers. I tested mine in the Ohio winter with cold hands without gloves and had no problem holding them. My favorite feature of this knife and sheath is the adjustable sheath compatibility for right or left handed, vertical or horizontal. I was concerned about holding the sheath but after receiving the knife it clicked very well. I live on the street with paraplegia and a bad limp. I can't come without a seat. This knife is worth the money and I can only recommend it!
