Review on πŸ“± Jenny Craig Max! Smart Wireless Body Weight Scale by Kimberly Evans

Easy Connectivity Scale

When I received the scale I thought it looked good enough. Jenny is painted in silver under the glass surface. These scales only record weight, so they don't try to tell you BMI or anything like that. I don't think it stores any user data locally either. Below is a button to press and select kg or lbs. My scale has a loose contact. When I put in the included 3 AAA batteries, it wouldn't turn on. I had to reinstall them about 3 times to get the connection going. The scale must be on a solid surface. It doesn't have long legs, and when I stood on the tablemat, the button on the bottom launched a different weight, registering no more than 100 pounds. In order to connect to my iPhone, I had to install the Jenny Craig app. An email address is required to activate the app. Below the dots is a menu for adding an app or device. Once you have selected the scale, all you have to do is activate the scale so that it lights up and the weight is displayed. No pairing mode or anything like that. If you step on the scale with the app open, the current weight measurement is displayed and you press the button to lock the weight. I don't see any way to transfer data to iPhone Health. Although the app can pull data from the health app. It's a bit disappointing but not that big of a deal. For simple scales that just track weight, they seem pretty cheap, and pairing them was one of the easiest experiences I've had.
