I have 50mm. I wasn't sure how good they would be due to the hook or lack of a hook. I was surprised that the post actually has a loop. That way you don't try to dent the entire frame at once when you put them on. After inserting the ear into the rod, you need to bring the rod into the tube. It's not difficult at all. I could give them 4 stars but because of the price, quality and beauty. Also, they were a lot easier to put on and wear than I expected. They are such a good size. Very loose, which makes the diamond(?) cut so beautiful. One comment I have (and could this just be my problem?) is that sometimes the earring's full tube goes through my ear. Don't just post. It can be a little uncomfortable but overall they are very comfortable. I even slept in it. I'm so glad I bought these beautiful buttons!
