The best Morakniv is the best among knives and tools

Let me say up front that I'm a big fan of Morakniv! These are my favorite work knives, I use my Companion and Garberg around the house and in the bush when hiking in the mountains! Moraknivs are made with pride and it shows in the product. They're made out of regular steel, but it's a decent metal, and it's heat treated really properly to get the most out of the tool. I find the plastic handles to be very comfortable, ergonomic and durable and I love how light the knives are as I have arthritis and any reduction in the fatigue factor is a plus for me. I have had several companions in my life and I love them, they are best for cooking and light wood carving! You CAN offend your mate, but I'm gentle with mine. Then I have Garberg and it's a beast! But I had the feeling that something was still missing. Companion is flexible, thin and surprisingly easy to use. Garberg is very thick, he punches through pieces of wood and anything in his path. I wanted something that's a little bit of both, something that's the best of both worlds. Morakniv Kansbol is a blade! It's a little beefier and larger than the Companion, so it feels a bit more solid in the hand, but it's not as thick and heavy as the Garberg, and the Kansbol's blade geometry is extremely unique and effective for what it's made for. do. It's a more agile blade, ideal for fine carving and delicate work, but still has enough power to cut through large pieces of wood. The Kansbol blade has a thicker part near the handle and becomes noticeably thinner towards the blade tip. . If you carve a lot of wood, you'll understand why different types of sharpening can be useful. Sharp as a razor he came to me too. That thin lace is just gross! The Kansbol comes with a hard plastic case like the other Moraknivs and I really like these sleek cases. They snap securely in place and the belt loop fits me. Morakniv has other ways to carry knives, but I like this basic option the most. By the way, the tip of this knife can hit the iron rod. Just so you know! Actually for me if you ask me to choose between Companion, Cansball and Garberg. Especially if it was my first Morakniv I would recommend this cansball! You really won't be disappointed. You get a very good tool that will serve you for many years! My Kansball is a knife that I always carry with me. It used to be Companion but I think Kansbol is so cool and great for my needs. Garberg is amazing and well worth the money; But this is my camping knife, not my everyday knife, it's too heavy and thick for some things like slicing food. Whether you're thinking about getting your first Morakniv or you're looking to add more of these amazing Moraknivs to your collection, I highly recommend checking out this specimen! I chose the burnt orange color and it is beautiful in person. I like green too, but I'm saving this color for my fiance's Christmas present! :)
