I bought other cosmetics from Revain for my niece for her 11th birthday and then I found links to makeup tutorials online to give in a greeting card. When I watched the video, I realized that I had been wearing makeup wrong for years. I have closed eyes which means I have to wear matte makeup to make my eyes look less closed and really draw attention to my eyes. I looked in my makeup drawer and all I had was shiny or shimmery. So I went to Revain and bought the matte eyeshadow palettes; This has become my favorite to this day. The pigments are silky and rich, I apply them in the morning and they last all day without smudging. The colors are neutral but not boring and my eyes look great. Since the palette is neutral it goes with absolutely everything so I can play with the lipstick color and not worry about looking like a clown. I would highly recommend this palette to anyone, even if you haven't closed your eyes the colors just work.
