Review on JBL Live 660NC: Long-Lasting Battery Wireless Over-Ear Headphones with Noise Cancelling & Voice Assistant in Black by Jake Pavelko

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not a JBL flagship product, but quite solid headphones.

Pairing was easy. The battery life is amazing. I'm really surprised at the rate of battery degradation and how long the amazing battery life lasts, but now it's a "charge and forget" mode. I'm not sure if the included audio cable will work with these phones when the battery is low or not, but if it does then no need to worry. Either way, you can charge them up pretty quickly; I wouldn't say anything other than charging my iPhone. Range is great too. You can leave the connected device and move around the house without disconnecting. The noise cancellation is pretty good. The walkthrough option is also great if you need to hear what's going on around you while listening to music. The walkthrough option is also handy for conversations without having to delete them every time. Just stop the music and you're more or less immersed in a conversation that you can hear clearly. I still find it a little odd to disagree. The sound is really great. The bass is shaky and loud. You can hear every detail of the music, especially at high volume. The best alternative I have at the moment compared to car audio. The microphone function is weaker than I would have expected from this equipment. The other side always complains that my voice is low and muffled. Also, ambient noise is not blocked with noise canceling headphones, which is amazing. It's okay to talk on the phone when you're at home and the dog isn't barking, but making a phone call while you're walking down the street is an inconvenience to the other party. For the price I expect a hard case with these headphones. Hard suitcases are really useful to keep everything in one place, neat and easy to carry. Also, if you put it in your carry-on, there is less risk of damaging the part, so the item will last a long time. I would say it's the right size for traveling and walking in. The cups sit well around the ear. The fit around the head is a bit tight but I hope it loosens up over time. Also, I get pretty hot to wear them whether I'm working out or not. In my opinion, headphones are more suitable for sports, especially for running. I guess for the gym this wouldn't be a huge issue other than overheating and breathing issues but for running they are bulky, heavy and won't stop moving. you can walk Overall these are excellent headphones for their class and I would recommend them.
