Review on 🎧 High-Definition Sound Isolation In-Ear Headphones - SOUL SL99 (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Jessica Boucher

Good sound but they don't fit and are uncomfortable

It was one big disappointment after another. When I received them I was really impressed, the packaging looks really classy, the box feels really high quality, that's what the box feels like with the felt lined walls and the nicely exposed headphones surrounded by foam, with a nice bag for storage, it really felt like I was getting $100 headphones. Unfortunately it all goes downhill from there, the earbuds themselves feel plasticy and cheap, even the ear pads feel cheap, more like plastic than the rubber I'm used to. I've tried them on and can officially say that these are the worst in-ear headphones I've ever had. They just don't fit. I suspect the plastic tip that the earbuds attach to is larger than usual, making it very difficult to get them in your ears. After several attempts, I finally managed to connect them to the smallest earbuds on my previous headphones. You have to sort of push the corner of the earbuds into your ear for them to get stuck. When I got them I was very impressed with the sound, it's certainly heavy but sounds good, I'd compare them well to my husky hd 428 headphones. I like the HD428 sound better, but only because it's not so is bassy. However, I can't wear them for more than 10 minutes before my ears start to hurt. They're just too big for my ears and I've never had a problem with in-ear headphones. My previous headphones were the Seinheiser CX-300 and Bob Marley's Concretors and they both fit me perfectly. So if you could somehow adjust them they would be great headphones for sure, but they just don't suit me. Verdict: Pros: Nice packaging Nice sound Cons: Seems plastic and cheap Terrible fit Very uncomfortable Huge! about twice the size of normal 1-star headphones. plus 1 because they actually sound decent.
