I bought this a month ago for my 13 year old as a reward for doing so well in all the distance learning we all go through. I bought small drones for $30 a few years ago, but this thing is way better. The first thing you'll notice is how powerful this thing is. It's very well done. I also thought I should take the time to show him how it works and how to use the controller, but as soon as the postman left this thing started flying all over the house. It's so easy to fly and very intuitive. However, it is still a drone and will move away from you from time to time. We'd bounce it against walls, ceilings, each other, and every time we lifted it, the propellers would turn back on and it's going around again. A little tip: Make sure that the propellers A and B are diagonal to each other. (A top left and bottom right, B top right and bottom left.) We like that it looks like a large professional drone but in a tiny size that fits in the palm of your hand. I have to admit that this thing is fun to fly around the house. We take turns to see who can put him on random items or run around corners to avoid bumping into mom. For a small $30 drone it far exceeded our expectations and I would recommend it to anyone without a problem.
