I originally ordered a direct splitter [one in two out] but it doesn't compare to my LG TV, the optical audio signal from the TV needs an amplifier because this device is , now it works like a charm. I have one output that goes to the soundbar and I have full control over it as before, the other output is connected to Bluetooth Tx so I can use my wireless/bluetooth headphones. and it is also controlled completely independently.
