Not as strong as Tegaderm but much cheaper. For example, you can sometimes find them falling off after a shower or a few harsh hand washes. Never mind, I'll put a new one on, which is probably a good idea anyway. I now find them easier to use than Tegaderm, although I messed up *a few* before I got the hang of it. :) Great for easily infected small cuts. Simply cut into small pieces before use. So inexpensive that I don't bother changing it more often. Extremely unobtrusive, unlike a patch, and healing is visible as an indication of infection. In my experience, they are very effective at protecting damaged skin from hordes of bacteria. They provide an advantageous base for clear wound dressings, but are sufficient for most minor wounds in life. Too bad they weren't available when my kids were little! Every time my adult daughter comes to visit, she takes a few with her, so I guess it's never too late! With a box of 100, they go a long way and I haven't noticed any deterioration in a year.
