I ordered a pair of black trousers to go with a pair of black and white trousers I like but the matching trousers were too low. Judging by all the reviews I still didn't know if I should order Medium or Large. So I ordered both. While a medium size would have worked well, it was a little tight at the waistband in the front, but had a little room in the back. The large one fit perfectly, so I left that size and sent the medium one back (the return was easy and free, by the way). I have a 28" waist which should be a medium size but I also have 38" hips. I think the seller should state what hip measurements are for each size. The fabric feels dense and without much stretch. I like that there is a drawstring in the waistband so you can tighten the shorts around the waist if needed.
