It doesn't make sense

Apple didn't think much about it, I don't think they even mentioned it, but there have been big changes in wireless chargers since the new 12 series. Let's leave the technical details to the engineers and let's talk about the essentials. WHAT IS IT? This is what is commonly referred to as a fake of a leading branded product, a clone that looks like the real thing but attracts buyers with a hefty price tag. cheaper. Sometimes that's all some people need, but not always. When Anker admitted that most if not all of its previous wireless chargers weren't fully compatible with the new iPhone 12 series, they released this as their first MagSafe-compatible product. While it looks similar, it's not an exact replacement for the original. WHY The marketing page for the new phone doesn't provide much detailed information on exactly what the changes are, but it seems like an attempt to make us understand. Buy genuine Apple branded accessories, not fakes, for the simple reason that they actually work better together. Yes, there is a price premium that we have to accept, but if you're missing out on over a thousand dollars worth of billions in design and engineering, it really is such a good idea to try and save a few cents on accessories that it can? not use? 100% of this technique. WHAT YOU GIVE According to the specs of this product, one of the biggest downsides is that the USB-C cable is always plugged in. Yes, I know the other one too, but I also expected innovation, not me. I don't know why they did it but it takes away from us the ability to replace our own cable length, brand, design or just the ability to replace it if it breaks or fails and you know, cables always break and here when this happens, the whole gadget turns into garbage. Surprisingly, Anker is not backward compatible. So if you have other wireless charging phones, you will need two or more chargers. And aside from what I was expecting it doesn't even come with a charger, you just get the pillow itself. They call it a charger but what you get is useless unless you buy an extra power bank for that Charger. Please note that it is only compatible with the four phones and four cases listed. And if you want to take full advantage of your phone's helpful charging animations, you'll have to do without it with this product. Finally, and probably most importantly, it's not changing as quickly as the real MagSafe thing, it only costs a few bucks more from your phone's manufacturer. They completely lost my interest there, it just doesn't make sense. WHY SHOULD YOU BUY? ITI likes to make wise purchasing decisions, which includes saving money when I can. I've tried to give this device a fair comparison and my bottom line is that it offers no advantage over the original and doesn't sacrifice everything just to save a few bucks. Anker used to be a reliable source of clones, but lately they seem to have lost their advantage. This is an accessory I recommend spending more and getting the original - it's too risky messing around with something as important as keeping the battery in your new 12 series as healthy as possible.
