Looked high and low for a LED floodlight without a motion detector and I'm really glad I found this light. When on, the yard is brightly and evenly lite, unlike the old flood light bulbs this has replaced. The lights themselves don't look like they would put out the amount of light that they do, but holy cow they put out a lot of nice light. I too would have given this light 5 stars if it wasn't for the same problem many of the other reviewers had. I also had problems getting the housings center mounting screw is just about a quarter inch or so too short. I solved the problem by putting a couple of small washers behind the cross mounting piece and the square electrical box. This helped to make the mounting screw make. Hopefully the manufacturer starts reading these reviews and solve this mounting problem for future installs. With a little thought it's not hard to figure out if you buy this light. All said and done, I would purchase this light again.
