When I first tried them a few years ago, I immediately started using mascara. I've tried so many and always hated how they looked. I use brown for work or everyday makeup when I'm just wearing a natural, subtle makeup. I haven't tried any of the darker colors; I will use a different brand when doing more dramatic eye makeup, such as for evening events. In general, this mascara is just good for everyday makeup. It lengthens my lashes without looking too strong. This gives them just the right amount of color. I have light brown hair and tiny eyes so all black looks like I overdressed during the day. What I like most about mascara is the applicator; really helps get rid of lumps. I'm not the best at makeup and without mascara I have the most unruly lashes! The applicator really seems to help set the curl (I always use an eyelash curler before mascara) and makes it easy to apply.
