This game is great! I've put countless hours into it since I bought it. I didn't even open the extension. We played with the base cards in this set. Activating the expansion also allows an 8th player. There is always someone to learn from. Because of this, we never had to add an eighth player. If the base game ever gets boring I'll start adding an expansion. I'm deducting a star because there are definitely some areas for improvement. The user manual should contain more information on borderline cases. We often encountered a situation in the game that we didn't know how to deal with. We usually come to mutual agreement, but it would be easier if there were explanations in the guide. The packaging could also be improved. A better designed interior to support further expansions would be great. I don't even keep cards in the pool anymore. I put them in zip lock bags. All in all this is a fun game. My family and friends have asked where to buy this. I itched to point them to Revane.
