Overall I am very happy with my purchase. However, it's still a pretty cheap duvet cover and I personally don't expect it to last forever, but I knew it probably would when I bought it. There are more cons than pros, but nothing was really a "deal breaker". I would buy it again and am happy with it. When we opened it it had a big red spot, brand new. We went back through Revain and received a replacement with no problems and the second was fine with no stains. So, yes we had an issue as others have said, but we were able to smoothly resolve the issue. Pros: - Super soft material on both the cover and pillowcases. - Beautiful unique pattern with vibrant colors. - Cheap, obviously. Decent quality for the price. Cons: - Very light material. I could see how easily it snagged or broke in the wash. No problems so far and if there are any I will update the review. I only see one potential problem: - Some signs of poor quality: Frayed strings sticking out in a few spots. The pattern doesn't look well thought out, which means the squares are larger in some places than others. Not a big problem, but if you're sensitive to such things, it might bother you. The first one we got had the zipper catching on the fabric as we were zipping it up. On the 2nd we didn't have that much of a problem with it, but we still had to keep an eye on something: - The fabric absorbs water and shows slight "stains". I accidentally left a baby wipe on it and a few hours later came back to a large 4 inch wet spot where the fabric had soaked up the water from the wipe. After drying, a noticeable ring was still present at the site of moisture drying. The loop in the corner on the inside is good, but we didn't use it. To be honest we weren't sure how to go about it. The loops are big so they fell right off the corner of the quilt. The colors are absolutely unique and it is very difficult for us to find matching sheets that are not neutral. We chose salmon/peach or yellow for the sheets and ended up with salmon which doesn't quite match but still looks ok. It would be nice if the makers would suggest a corresponding sheet. Update: We've been using this for about 2 months now and are getting more and more dissatisfied with it. Mainly because he keeps slipping off the ceiling. We should try to move the ceiling to the corners of this ceiling at least once a week. This may have something to do with our special duvet (from IKEA), but we had no problems with our newest duvet cover. We even tied the corners with loops on the lid, but she still comes out. I suspect it's because of the very soft and light material that slides too easily and there isn't enough friction. I'm deducting a star for this issue.
