Problems with the microphone

The microphone could not get good sound quality. Used by ZOOM and Rosetta Stone. The zoom produces a distorted sound and Rosetta says the microphone is too loud. In trying to play around with both, I gave up on Zoom and used a headset and microphone to get good audio. The folks at Zoom say my speech is muted. Tried to adjust but to no avail.
