My daughter loves this seat and can even close the top and bottom buckles herself. She has never been able to buckle the bottom one in any other seat. We got this for my SUV with leather seats because the bottom is smooth like a regular booster and doesn't dig into the skin like my convertible seat. We have moved the convertible to another car of ours and this one will stay with the leather seats. If you are familiar with assembling a car seat, then the assembly is quite easy and quick. The breast clip is too easy for her to slide alone, but she knows how to keep it in the right position and can put it back on just as easily as she moved it. Overall we love it and it's just that
