Review on 🚁 Enhanced 838 Water Rescue Patrol by Jay Elgouhari

Revainrating 5 out of 5

NOT intended for serious firefighting activities.

Every year as fire season approaches I get ready. As the founder and sole member of our neighborhood watch, I often walk the streets at night looking for hot coals. They can travel for miles, so vigilance is the price of safety. I usually use a backpack full of refilled 2 liter bottles and water sausages, but this year I wanted to upgrade. That's when I realized I was looking for a water rescue package. I definitely needed comfort because I had to go through a lot of hills and I also wanted to be able to drop it quickly in case I got chased by a coyote (which happens). Unfortunately the market in this area is small but I wasn't discouraged. When I saw this I was skeptical at first but after watching some of their training videos I realized that if a Dalmatian puppy and a 9 year old boy could put out huge fires with this unsupervised, it could be perfect. Unfortunately, I didn't read it carefully and found out later that it was a toy. It's a great toy, it's just not meant for the serious firefighting that I envisioned. It squirts quite a distance and seems to be of good quality. All the neighborhood kids light up when I bring it. I can see they are jealous if I don't let them try no matter how much they charge but I don't lend my gear. This is a 5 star product.
