Bought for myself (female) as it had all the features I was looking for plus a grab strap that runs the full length of the clutch and not just a tongue or strap attached at one end like on women's clutches. Yes, simple, boring, androgynous looking, but I'm willing to sacrifice "feminine design" for functionality. Holds 8 cards, cash, coins, my iPhone 6S with Otterbox case, lip balm, pen and spare mask like a champ. The zippers are strong, well sewn in and have never let me down. I am very happy with the purchase. Granted, it would be nice to have some sort of designer engraving along the trim, but it's practical and helps me keep my life efficient.
