I like my previous Vagabond Sanuk shoes - and in the past I have bought a size US12 because they fit well (I usually wear a size 11US). Unfortunately, the Artesano style size 12 (all leather) isn't nearly the same size - the sole of the shoe is half an inch shorter than the other pair. They were difficult to put on even with a shoe horn and pinched my toes when I tried to walk and that was in the morning! The largest size they make is a size 13 (another $10). I decided not to risk it because they would be too tight too (I like them loose). In addition, the sole padding is thinner. To compensate, they added a soft "bubble” under the heel with burned leather lettering. Not only did this letter feel like something alien in the boot underneath my heel, the pressure in the middle of the heel gives it a wobbly feel, while my old Vagabond is one of the sturdiest shoes I've ever worn. I gave them 3 stars because they feel solid like my old ones, albeit with the intentional flaws mentioned above. The top part of the boot where the toe and arch sit rather than the heel is too flat - you have to make an effort to move your toes - not very comfortable.
