So my wife bought me this today at BestBuy for about four and a half Benjamins, actually 10 less. In any case. PRO first. In the evenings with room lighting it feels great. It even has a low light setting for VERY low light. The projector is very cool, but I don't know how often I will use it in practice. It's quite small, which is good, it's convenient to carry. Suitable for standard SD memory cards. Records sound in stereo, picks up sound well, has a focus tracking feature where you can long press on an object in the viewfinder and the object will stay in focus for as long as it can see it as it moves across the scene. The zoom is great, very clear and VERY STABLE, great job on the image stabilization! AND THE MACRO IS GREAT! It seems like you can practically bring something to the lens and it will focus on it. CONS: The quality of the still image is GARBAGE! My EVO 3D takes MANY OUTSTANDING photos compared to this camera. This camera claims to be able to do 5.3 megapixels, my EVO 3D is 5.0 megapixels. There's no excuse for the appalling lack of photo quality on this camcorder. Perhaps many or most people won't use this feature, but you're paying for it, it should be more than a novelty. Also, most people probably won't mind, but there's no multi-mic input and no headphone inputs. Also: This is *NOT* really FULL HD! 1080P is not supported, only 1080i. There's a difference! I personally think that the price of this camcorder is too high. We'll probably be back tomorrow. If it was about a hundred bucks less I'd probably keep it for myself. The projector feature seems odd as I just don't realize how handy it is. And the projected image is only 640 x 360 resolution, it's not even VGA resolution. Sounds like a ploy to sell a camera. At higher resolution approx but still not sure where the niche for it is. Some people will like this camcorder. And to be honest, if it did FULL 1080P I'd probably keep it. But as it is. it will be sent back tomorrow.
