Review on HP 24 Inch M24Fw FreeSync Monitor - 1920X1080P, 75Hz, Anti-Glare Coating, 3-Sided Micro-Edge, Low Blue Light by Mike Mittal

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks good, bright enough. 75 Hertz. No mounting holes on the back. HDMI cable included.

4.7 stars for general use. Above average quality LED monitor for general use at home or in the office. Nice looks, good picture and brightness if 1920x1080 resolution is enough for you There are 2 very similar models: M24fw = no speakers [the one I'm looking at here] M24fwa = built in speakers. The "a" at the end of the model name stands for "Audio". + brightness is very good; I reduce it to 50% except for some games. + On-screen adjustments are easy (buttons are located on the bottom right edge of the screen). + Convenient rear cable routing (part of the stand is hollow for easy removal and installation) + 75Hz refresh rate is good for casual gaming (professional gamers may want a 120+ Hz monitor though). Most general purpose monitors only operate at 60Hz. - No tilt to vertical position - No height adjustment - No VESA mounting holes on the back. Instead of speakers, you need the M24fwa model: https://www.amazon.com/HP-M24fwa-23-8-Backlit-Monitor/dp/B095JXWLSJ Your experience may vary, but Windows 10 has NO driver installed for this monitor . It's easy to find on the manufacturer's website, hp dot com --> Support --> Software and Drivers --> Other --> (enter the model number, e.g. M24fw). Visit the manufacturer's website if you need to check any specifications. before the purchase.
