Couldn't be cheaper, around $30 plus tax. I installed it in my car and since I have access to a sunroof it's even easier to install. Installing simply means placing it wherever there is metal and you are done as it has 2 round shapes that have small magnets attached. It also has a rubber coating to protect your car's paintwork from scratches, so do not remove the rubber caps. It has two switches, one switch is ON/OFF only, and you can see the red LED when it is on. The other switch controls different types of flashes, I believe there are 7 options. The cable is long, you can definitely connect it to the driver's 12V cigarette socket and mount the light on the back of your car/truck/van. It's very bright at night, people can definitely see you from afar if they don't see you. You were probably on the phone/drinking or sleeping (mostly on the phone).
