Not great for a small child but perfect for an older child. You need to make sure the screws are tightened enough (using the included wrench) when you insert them so that nothing moves afterward. He loosens the screws. An older child can reach the iPad without moving it, but a smaller child cannot. BUT what do you expect for the price. It was a lot, that's all.
